About Us

Who we are

Helping each other
can make the world better

For more than ten (10) years a number of persons, who now form the Partners That Care International (PTCI) Board, independently reached out to our community in an effort to meet some identified needs that were well within their reach.’

These community outreach initiatives included but were not limited to – distribution of school supplies and food items, adoption of senior citizens’ homes, and the teaching and facilitation of workshops within various schools and organisations. These small scale activities were very effective and successfully reached some of the members of our community. After careful consideration the team thought to combine efforts and resources in order to expand and reach more of the community with little or no duplication of efforts. To this end, Partners That Care International (PTCI) was birthed. The charity was officially registered on 29 September, 2014.

PTCI seeks to bring together persons and organisations who share a common interest in addressing the social concerns and challenges of varying communities, whether these concerns are to bring relief from poverty, enhance community and personal development or provide assistance that contributes to a better quality of life for those at the grassroots level.

Our Testimonials

What they are saying about our charity

I love everything about the programme. Coming here has made me feel a sense of life. Before, I was more stressed, but now I breathe, study the situation and deal with it slowly. All of the teachers are very understanding.

3MD student

PTCI is doing a good work with their programmes and initiatives for the youth. The 3MD programme is quite relevant - the co-curriculum approach enhances and adds value to what is done in the school and brings balance to the student as evidenced in changes in approach and behaviour

Guidance Counsellor

It is an outstanding programme; it came along at the right time. 3MD has had a positive impact on (my son). It has given him more focus and has been a positive experience

Parent

Thanks PTCI. I did not know what I was going to give my children to eat this morning but the hamper came just as I was asking myself the question. You brought tears to my eyes as you answered my prayers

Parent via Guidance Counsellor

As a participant in the Schools Music Festival the developmental workshop conducted by PTCI for secondary students, assisted me in my preparations for the finals. Ms. Carolyn Leacock words stuck in my head, “singing is an ugly job”, and it helped me with my performance and I placed in the final three

Student

I loved the PTCI games we played during the workshop at Prince Cave Hall. It was not what I was thinking it would be but I would not have changed anything as it helped us to work better with our group of students in the choir. As a teacher I learnt a lot about the different personalities of the students in the choir and it helped our presentation for the finals

Primary School Teacher

What I like about this programme is the people, the PTCI/3MD team. They are helping me to become a better self. They care and love. Family is not always about blood
